New Beginning Series 2010 was exactly that — a shift, a turning point, a moment where I felt myself stepping into a new stage of my art career. It became my first fully‑formed major series: a body of work that didn’t just sit together, but moved together, each painting feeding the next. For the first time I produced a brochure, a proper collection, something that felt intentional and confident. These works carried a sense of momentum — colour pushing forward, shapes settling into place, ideas finally aligning. Looking back, it’s clear this was the moment everything started to click. The series wasn’t just a new beginning in name; it genuinely marked the start of me understanding my own visual language and trusting it enough to let it grow.
After the New Beginning Series had met its natural end I had a break from the pure abstract and went on to do a short Figurative series which were inspired by by now famous Blue Nude Pasels.
