I sensed a bit of Howard Hodgkin's when I painted this work and as the whole series was about Interiors that was very much the man himself used as his inspirations..
A new method of mixing acrylic over wet oil which gave these amazing crackle effects. I kept that method quite as it was a mystery to many and a secret is always fun to have, ow the cat is out the bag!
